Kochi, April 1 -- A migrant worker from Assam was beaten to death allegedly by a group of workers from his own State, at Perumbavoor in Kerala's Ernakulam district in the early hours of Wednesday.
The victim has been identified as Nur Hussain, a native of Nagaon district in Assam. The motive for the crime is yet to be established.
Police have arrested six accused identified as Jakir Hussain, Alavudheen Hussain, Minarul, Habeesudheen, Muzammil Houque and Hachen Ali.
