Hyderabad, Dec. 2 -- MIC Electronics Limited, a leading Hyderabad based Indian manufacturer of digital passenger information systems, today said it has won a Rs 1.49 crore contract from South Central Railway's Vijayawada Division to install an advanced Integrated Passenger Information System (IPIS) at Annavaram (ANV) and Yelamanchili (YLM) stations.
This project will upgrade real-time communication on platforms by introducing synchronised LED train display boards, digital clocks, audio announcements, and GPS-based systems to ensure accurate and faster travel information for passengers.
