New Delhi, Oct. 15 -- In a significant enhancement to the policing infrastructure of the national capital, the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) has granted Administrative Approval and Expenditure Sanction of Rs 653.46 crore for the implementation of 26 new infrastructure projects for the Delhi Police.
This initiative highlights the Centre's ongoing commitment to improving the operational efficiency, living conditions, and gender sensitivity of the Delhi Police force.
The approved projects comprise the construction of 18 modern police station buildings, 7 police posts, a dedicated women's hostel, and 180 staff quarters.
