Mumbai, May 14 -- Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis said here on Wednesday that metro network will be expanded in Mumbai.
Fadnavis and Deputy CMs Ajit Pawar abd Eknath Shinde conduct technical inspection of metro from Dahisar (East) to Kashigaon on Metro Route-9 on Wednesday.
The CM said the technical testing of the Kashigaon-Dahisar section was underway. "Once it is completed, this section will be opened for passengers," he said.
"Metro is a good alternative to the Western Express Highway. We want to provide connectivity from Netaji Subhash Chandra Maidan to Bandra. Work is underway in various phases," said the CM.
