Bengaluru, Feb. 5 -- As Bengaluru Metro races towards becoming a 175-km network, vertical mobility is emerging as one of its most critical infrastructure backbones, with elevators, escalators and travelators set to play a decisive role in passenger safety and station efficiency.
Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation Ltd (BMRCL) Director (RSE and O&M), Sumit Bhatnagar said the rapid expansion of the metro system will sharply increase the demand for dependable vertical transportation, especially at high-footfall and interchange stations.
