Shimla, Dec. 28 -- Eluding the state from winter snowfall and rain for two months, weather continued to remain on reverse trajectory in the state of Himachal Pradesh as Mercury continued to nudge upwards across the state. Himachal also recorded two to three degrees above normal barring freezing conditions persisting in some places in the high-altitude.

According to the latest morning bulletin, capital town Shimla recorded a minimum 9 degrees (about 5 degrees above normal), Manali 3.5 (around 3.7 degrees above normal), Dharamshala 9.6 (3.6 degrees above normal), Solan 2.2 degrees, Mandi 3.9, Palampur 5, Kangra 5.6, and Una 4.4, all remaining above their seasonal averages.
