Shimla, Oct. 27 -- The cold wave has started tightening its grip over Himachal Pradesh as Keylong, the district headquarters of Lahaul-Spiti, recorded the season's lowest minimum temperature at minus 0.1 degrees celsius, the Meteorological Centre Shimla said today.
The night temperature across most parts of the state remained below 18 degrees celsius, while Shimla recorded a minimum of around 11 degrees celsius. Sundernagar, Bhuntar, and Solan also reported temperatures hovering around 9 degrees celsius to 10 degrees celsius, while Manali recorded a chilly 6.7 degrees celsius. In contrast, the lowest reading from Kukumseri was 0.4 degrees celsius, indicating early winter conditions in higher altitudes.
