Srinagar, April 24 -- In the wake of the deadly Pahalgam terror attack, former Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister and PDP president Mehbooba Mufti on Thursday urged Union Home Minister Amit Shah to ensure safety of Kashmiri students and traders in the country.
The appeal came two days after the Pahalgam terror attack that claimed the lives of 25 tourists and a local resident. The attack plunged the nation into mourning.
Following the terror attack, reports have emerged of Kashmiri students and traders facing intimidation and abuse in various states. In Dehradun, the Hindu Raksha Dal has allegedly issued an ultimatum, asking Kashmiris to leave the city within ten days.
