Srinagar, Oct. 2 -- Peoples Democratic Party president Mehbooba Mufti today said that New Delhi is leaving no room for reconciliation in future in Jammu and Kashmir as it was treating people here as "criminals".

She criticised the government's move to attach the headquarters of the Tehreek-e-Hurriyat, which was founded by separatist leader Syed Ali Shah Geelani who died in 2021.

The building located at Rehmatabad, Hyderpora, was also Geelani's residence. The office was attached under the Unlawful Activities Prevention Act (UAPA) in an FIR registered at the Budgam police station last year.
