Shillong, April 4 -- Describing India as the "country of the decade", Meghalaya Chief Minister Conrad Sangma on Friday encouraged Indian Institute of Management (IIM)- Shillong graduates to leverage their education for national progress.

Addressing the 16th convocation of the IIM Shillong, Sangma commended India's resilient and rapidly advancing economy, despite global challenges such as economic recession.

"India continues to chart a path of strong growth, driven by transformative initiatives like Digital India," the Chief Minister said.
