Shillong, June 19 -- India-Bangladesh trade, through the Dawki Land Custom Station in Meghalaya has been affected due to disruption of internet connectivity.
"We are unable to conduct trade for the past four days after internet connectivity snapped thus affecting the functioning of Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) system at the Dawki LCS," an official told UNI on condition of anonymity on Thursday.
The state-owned Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL), which is the sole internet service provider to LCS, said that internet service has been disrupted after underground cables were damaged due to the road construction.
