Shillong, Aug. 21 -- The Meghalaya State Commission for Protection of Child Rights (MSCPCR) has written to Chief Minister Conrad Sangma, urging him to implement a systemic and humane framework for the welfare of street dogs in the state.
In her letter, MSCPCR Chairperson Agatha Sangma requested the Chief Minister for a dedicated programme for sterilisation and vaccination of street dogs, ensuring their well-being and a balanced co-existence.
