Shillong, July 1 -- The Meghalaya Tourism department has has made online data collection process for all accommodation providers (hotels, guesthouses, home stays, bed and breakfast establishments, etc) mandatory across the state, an official said on Tuesday.
"Accommodation providers must input daily check-ins and check-outs of visitors, including their phone numbers, gender, state or country, identity proof (visa-C-form) and the same must be uploaded daily," Director of Tourism, Cyril Darlong Diengdoh said in a notification today.
Such business houses must first register on https://app.meghalayatourism.in/provider and daily upload the requisite information.
