Shillong, Oct. 7 -- The Meghalaya Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan Schools Association (MSSASA) has decided to file a review petition challenging the Supreme Court judgement making the Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) mandatory for all in-service teachers across the country, including some who have been teaching for over 20 years.
This decision was taken at a general meeting held at Malki Ground here on Monday attended by SSA teachers from across the State.
"We have decided to file a review petition challenging the Supreme Court judgement which will affect long-serving teachers nearing retirement," MSSASA president Aristotle Rymbai said.
