Jijikapara, April 18 -- Meghalaya has significantly increased investment in road infrastructure over the past several years, with a focus on linking remote and underserved areas to economic centres, Chief Minister Conrad Sangma said on Friday.
Inaugurating a key bridge over the Bugi River, along with road-widening projects in West Garo Hills district, aimed at improving regional connectivity, Sangma said the government has adopted an inclusive and equitable approach to development, prioritising regions that require critical infrastructure.
