Shillong, July 9 -- The Meghalaya High Court has directed the North East Centre for Technology Application and Research (NECTAR) to revert its order of cancellation of appointment of three scientists and one senior administrative officer.

NECTAR, an autonomous society set up under Department of Science & Technology, Government of India, had appointed Rakesh Kumar Sarmah as chief coordinator of technical, Simanta Das as chief radio technologist, Ankit Shrivastava as software engineer, and Simon Phukan as senior administrative officer on November 23, 2021.
