Shillong, July 10 -- The State Cabinet today approved the Meghalaya Film Tourism Policy, 2025, which is a significant step towards establishing Meghalaya as a hub for filmmaking in the North Eastg region, considering the immense natural beauty of the hill state.
The Draft Meghalaya Film Tourism Policy 2025 was released by the Chief Minister Conrad Sangma and himself three months back, where the government had sought valuable inputs from all stakeholders.
