Shillong, March 31 -- The Meghalaya Power Distribution Corporation Limited (MePDCL), a public sector company responsible for the distribution of electricity in Meghalaya, on Monday extended its One-Time Settlement (OTS) Scheme 2025 until April 30, providing consumers with an additional month to clear their outstanding electricity dues.
Initially, the OTS was set to conclude on March 31,2025, the extension follows significant participation and positive response since the scheme's launch by Chief Minister Conrad Sangma on March 4, in the presence of the Power Minister Abu Taher Mondal.
