Shillong, Aug. 15 -- Meghalaya continues to be a peaceful state with an enabling atmosphere for development and business, Chief Minister Conrad Sangma said on Friday.



"We are working with perseverance and dedication to ensure that development reaches every corner of the state and benefits every citizen," he said and thanked the people of the State for their continued support and collaboration with his government.



Addressing the Independence Day celebration after unfurling the national tri-colour at the Polo Grounds, Shillong, the Chief Minister said that Meghalaya is now halfway through our journey toward Vision 2032.
