Shillong, Oct. 7 -- Meghalaya Health and Family Welfare Minister Wailadmiki Shylla today said that the government is fully committed to conserving the environment through proper and scientific waste management in the spirit of the state policy.
"As a state government, we are also deeply concerned about the overall maintenance of cleanliness and the management of waste, especially with the rise in tourist footfall and the upcoming National Games in 2027," he said.
