Imphal, Oct. 10 -- Meghalaya Chief Minister Conrad Sangma, who is on a two-day visit to Manipur, said here today that he will continue to meet displaced persons of Manipur at Kangpokpi and Senapati districts and proceed towards Nagaland tomorrow to hold talks with NPP office bearers.
"The National People's Party (NPP), which was born in Manipur, wants to resolve the ongoing crisis in the state through talks and negotiations across the table," he said.
He clarified that the Meghalaya Government respects the history and significance of the Manipur Royal Palace in Shillong and has not issued any order to demolish it.
