Shillong, Feb. 7 -- In yet another significant move towards achieving a paperless Meghalaya Legislative Assembly, Chief Minister Conrad Sangma, who holds the finance portfolio among others, will digitally present the budget estimates for the financial year 2024-25 during the upcoming budget session.

The budget session of the Meghalaya Assembly will begin on February 16 with the address of Governor Phagu Chauhan and conclude on February 27 with the chief minister's reply to the budget discussion.

Chief Minister Sangma will present the budget estimates for 2024-2025 on February 21.
