Shillong, Oct. 9 -- Meghalaya Chief Minister and National People's Party (NPP) National President Conrad K Sangma is scheduled to arrive in Imphal on a two-day visit to Manipur on Thursday.
Sangma's visit to Manipur comes at a time when the BJP-led NDA MLAs from Manipur have been camping in New Delhi since October 5 to mount pressure for the restoration of a popular government in the state.
Manipur has been under President's Rule since February 13, 2025, following the resignation of former Chief Minister Biren Singh on February 9 amid ongoing Meitei-Kuki conflict.
