Shillong, Sept. 12 -- Meghalaya Chief Minister Conrad Sangma today thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi, union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitaraman and members of the GST Council for the landmark decision approving the rationalisation of GST rates.
Making a suo motu statement on the final day of the Autumn Session of the Meghalaya Assembly, Sangma said that these reforms are aimed at improving the lives of the common man and ensuring ease of doing business for all, including small traders and businessmen.
