Shillong, May 29 -- Meghalaya Chief Minister Conrad Sangma will meet his Assam counterpart, Himanta Biswa Sarma, on June 2 in Guwahati to resume the next round of formal talks to resolve the border disputes, State Chief Secretary Donald Philips Wahlang said.
Wahlang said parleys are continuing to resolve the remaining six areas of difference between the two neighbouring states.
On the other hand, the Chief Secretary informed that the three regional committees are yet to submit their reports to the state government to resolve the disputes in the remaining six areas of difference.
The second phase of the talks includes areas of difference over Block I, Psiar-Khanduli in the West Jaintia Hills district. Block II, Borduar, Nongwah-Mawtamu...
