Shillong, Aug. 18 -- Chief Minister Conrad Sangma today strongly advocated the need to have Science and Maths competitions among students in Meghalaya.
Sangma was inaugurating a STEM Fusion, a one-day workshop and student exhibition, organised by North East Centre for Technology Application and Research (NECTAR) and Smart Village Movement, IISER Pune at State Convention Centre, Shillong.
Recalling his days as a student, the Chief Minister said that there was always a fear of Science and Mathematics.
"There was too much seriousness surrounding these subjects and it wasn't much fun learning Science and Maths and I am sure in general that must be the feeling of many others even now
