Shillong, Feb. 27 -- The Budget Session of the Meghalaya Assembly will begin on Friday with Governor Chandrashekar H. Vijayashankar addressing the members of the House.
Chief Minister Conrad Sangma, who also handles the Finance portfolio, will present the State's budget on March 5.
Speaker Thomas Ampang Sangma said the budget session will have ten full working days-three days for Private Members' business and seven days for Government business. The session will conclude on March 13.
On the other hand, Chief Minister Sangma said the government will introduced as many as six amendment Bills during the upcoming session.
