Shillong, Feb. 24 -- The budget session of Meghalaya Assembly will begin from March 13, official said on Monday.

Assembly Commissioner and Secretary, Dr Andrew Simons said the Business Advisory Committee of the Meghalaya Legislative Assembly on Monday finalised the calendar for the budget session 2020.

He said there will be 10 sitting during the budget session which will begin with the address by Governor Tathagata Roy.

Simons said the session, which will culminate on March 26, has allotted seven days government business and three days of private member's business.

Chief Minister Conrad Sangma will present the State's budget on budget March 18. The budget will be passed on March 26, he said. UNI RRK BM
