Shillong, Feb. 6 -- The 10-day budget session of the Meghalaya Legislative Assembly will commence from February 28 and conclude on March 13.
Governor C. H. Vijayashankar would address the house on the first day of the budget session.
Chief Minister Conrad Sangma, who also holds the Finance portfolio, will present budget estimates 2025-26 on March 5.
"We will have ten full working days-three days for Private Members' business and seven days for Government business," Assembly Speaker Thomas Sangma said after chairing the meeting of the Business Advisory Committee (BAC).
The BAC was held on Thursday at the Speaker's office chamber to finalise the calendar for the Budget session.
