Shillong, Jan. 27 -- The budget session of the Meghalaya Assembly will be held from Feb 16-27, Speaker Thomas Ampang Sangma said on Tuesday.
Chief Minister Conrad Sangma, who also the hold Finance portfolio, will present the budget on February 20, he said after chairing the Business Advisory Committee (BAC) meeting.
The BAC meeting was attended by the Deputy Chief Minister in-charge of Parliamentary Affairs, Prestone Tynsong and other assembly and government officials.
The Leader of Opposition, Mukul M. Sangma and United Democratic Party (UDP) legislator Paul Lyngdoh participated in the meeting through online mode.
