Shillong, Oct. 13 -- The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), a minor ally of the ruling Meghalaya Democratic Alliance (MDA) led by the National People's Party (NPP), has expressed concerned over rising crime against children and demanded for the immediate removal of East Khasi Hills Deputy Commissioner, Rosetta Mary Kurbah.
BJP State General Secretary Wankitbok Pohshna termed the sudden, unprecedented and shocking surge of crime against children, some as young as four due to the "failure" of the district administration to discharge its duties from every angle.
