Shillong, Oct. 10 -- Meghalaya Assembly Speaker Thomas A. Sangma, is attending the 68th Commonwealth Parliamentary Association (CPA) Conference, which commenced on October 5, 2025, in Bridgetown, the capital city of Barbados.
Sangma is accompanied by Malthus S. Sangma, Secretary, Meghalaya assembly; Aurelius Warlarpih, Officer on Special Duty (OSD) to the Speaker; Daman Rymmai, Deputy Secretary (R) and Dilip Syiemiong, Personal Assistant to the Speaker.
The week-long Commonwealth Parliamentary Conference (CPC), which will conclude on October 12, 2025, brings together more than 600 delegates from over 180 national, state, and provincial legislatures across the Commonwealth.
