Shillong, March 24 -- Meghalaya has emerged as one of the top performing states in the 100-day TB Elimination Campaign, State Health, and Family Welfare Minister Dr. Mazel Ampareen Lyngdoh said on the occasion of World TB Day Monday.
The Office of the State Tuberculosis Officer, National Health Mission commemorated World Tuberculosis Day 2025 today, in tune with the global theme, "Yes We Can End TB: Commit, Invest, Deliver".
Speaking at the event, Lyngdoh said that the target was "not to only complete TB screening but also ensure patients suffering from TB are covered under all assistance permitted by the government".
