Shillong, Jan. 26 -- Meghalaya Governor C H Vijayashankar unfurled the Tricolour at the Republic Day parade at Polo grounds here today.
Vijayashankar also took the salute of the security forces including Meghalaya Police, Assam Police, NCC Boys & Girls, Meghalaya Bharat Scouts & Guides, Phudmuri Presbyterian Secondary School, JNV, Mawphlang, BDW International School, Assam Rifles Public School, Kendriya Vidyalaya NEHU, Brass Band of Meghalaya Police, Border Wing Home Guards and Border Security Force during the two-hour long programme.
