Imphal, Sept. 24 -- Medical services at the Regional Institute of Medical Sciences (RIMS), Imphal, resumed today after the Teachers' and Medical Officers' Association (TAMOA) suspended its agitation.
Diagnostic centres and hospital units also reopened, bringing relief to patients who had been affected by the suspension of services.
TAMOA stated that the decision followed a detailed review of suggestions and opinions presented by the general body of RIMS, which includes medical, nursing, non-teaching staff, resident doctors, and students.
The association also considered the written assurance given by the concerned authority and the hardships faced by the public due to the strike.
