Patna, Jan. 22 -- Bihar government today dismissed Dr Prabhat Kumar, Medical Officer of Additional Primary Health Centre (APHC), for his prolonged absence from duty without permission from competent authority.
Joint Secretary of Health Department Anil Kumar issued the dismissal order which stated that Dr Kumar was absent from his duty without assigning any reason since August 16, 2001.
Dr Kumar did not join duty despite directives issued to him on several occasions in the past.
All the officials concerned including District Magistrate of Saran have been informed about dismissal of Dr Kumar from the service.
