Munnar (Kerala), Oct. 25 -- A two-day media workshop has started at Pampadum Shola National Park, organized by the Environment Journalists' Forum with the support of the Wildlife Department of Kerala.

The workshop was inaugurated by senior journalist Varghese C. Thomas. Bobby Abraham, former president of the Kerala union of Journalists, presided over the event.

Former Assistant Conservator James Zacharia delivered the keynote address. Representatives from High Range Wildlife Preservation, including Jose Joseph and K. A. Shaji, also addressed the gathering. Senior journalist M.J. Babu welcomed the participants, and Wildlife Warden K. V. Harikrishnan proposed the vote of thanks.
