Hyderabad, Jan. 31 -- The four-day Medaram Sammakka Saralamma Maha Jatara, India's largest tribal festival, concluded in a grand and historic manner with the blessings of Goddesses Sammakka and Saralamma, State Minister Danasari Anasuya Seethakka said on Saturday.
The Minister for Panchayat Raj, Rural Development and Women and Child Welfare, said millions of devotees were able to have a peaceful darshan without facing any inconvenience, calling it a major achievement of the government machinery.
She attributed the success of the Jatara to advance planning, clear strategies and coordinated efforts by various departments well before the commencement of the festival.
