Hyderabad, Jan. 5 -- Telangana Revenue, Housing and Information & Public Relations Minister Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy on Monday said modernisation works worth over Rs 200 crore are being taken up at Medaram in connection with the Sammakka Saralamma Jathara, with nearly 95 per cent of the works already completed.

Replying to questions in the Legislative Council, the Minister said the development is being carried out with stone structures designed to last at least 200 years.
