Hyderabad, Feb. 3 -- Telangana Panchayat Raj Minister Danasary Anasuya Seethakka on Tuesday said the Medaram Sammakka-Saralamma Jatara was conducted successfully and concluded without any untoward incidents.
Speaking to the media at the Secretariat, she said all festival and temple-related activities were carried out smoothly.
The Minister said attempts were made by some sections to spread false propaganda about the arrangements and to exaggerate a single theft incident, creating unnecessary misinformation.
She clarified that the overall conduct of the festival remained peaceful and well-managed, with even opposition party leaders appreciating the arrangements made by the government.
