Hyderabad, June 29 -- Medak MP and senior BJP leader Raghunandan Rao, who is currently undergoing treatment for a leg injury at Yashoda Hospital has, has reportedly received fresh death threats from Maoists.
The latest threats came just days after he received a threatening phone call on June 23, following which he had filed a complaint with the Telangana DGP, as well as the Sangareddy and Medak SPs.
After a preliminary investigation, authorities provided him with an escort vehicle and armed security personnel for protection.
However, two days ago, while the MP was recuperating at the hospital, he received further threatening messages from two new phone numbers: 9489556347 and 7365035440.
