Nashik, July 30 -- Maharashtra Health Secretary Dr. Nipun Vinayak has directed health officials in Jalgaon, Dhule, and Nandurbar districts to immediately enhance surveillance and isolation measures following a measles outbreak at a government-aided ashramshala (residential school).

The urgent directive came during a review meeting yesterday after thirty-seven students from the institution were admitted to Jalgaon's Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) exhibiting measles-like symptoms, with four cases confirmed positive so far.
