Chennai, May 23 -- The Madras Diabetes Research Foundation (MDRF) on Friday entered into a strategic research collaboration with the Almazov National Medical Research Centre (ANMRC), based in Saint Petersburg, Russia.

This partnership marks a significant step toward advancing international research in diabetes and its related fields.

The Almazov Centre, a leading medical research institution under the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation, and MDRF will collaborate on several key areas including the development of new diagnostics and treatment strategies for diabetes, particularly Gestational Diabetes Mellitus (GDM), as well as emerging fields such as artificial intelligence and precision medicine in diabetes care.
