Hyderabad, Oct. 7 -- District Election Officer (DEO) and GHMC Commissioner R V Karnan has constituted a Media Certification and Monitoring Committee (MCMC) for the upcoming Jubilee Hills Assembly Constituency bye-election, in accordance with the directions of the Election Commission of India and the Chief Electoral Officer, Telangana.
The committee will be responsible for the scrutiny and pre-certification of advertisements, paid news, and other media-related content pertaining to contesting candidates during the election period. It will also ensure adherence to the Model Code of Conduct and promote transparency in media communications throughout the bye-election process.
