Bhubaneswar, Sept. 19 -- Mahanadi Coalfields Limited (MCL) has developed an Eco-Park on the closed Orient Mine No. 4 in Odisha's Jharsuguda district, as part of its sustainable development initiatives mandated by the Ministry of Coal.

The park features a Coal Museum showcasing working models of mining equipment and restored infrastructure such as underground galleries, a lamp room, fan house, and Time Office, offering visitors a glimpse into underground coal mining.

Recreational facilities including a children's park, water fountain, and cafeteria further enhance its appeal.
