Deepshikha VermaNew Delhi, Nov. 11 -- The Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) has penalised two of its officials for failing to maintain cleanliness in their assigned areas.
Acting on the directions of Deputy Commissioner of Shahdara South Zone, Badal Kumar, the MCD has ordered a one-day salary deduction of the Sanitation Supervisor and Sanitation Inspector of Ward No. 195, Kalyanpuri, for dereliction of duty.
The disciplinary action follows the discovery of a large heap of garbage near the Mother Dairy booth on Khichripur Road, despite repeated instructions to ensure cleanliness across all wards.
