New Delhi, Nov. 5 -- Amid ongoing efforts to curb pollutants in the present ambient situation, Additional Commissioner of the Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD), Liladhar Meghwal, today inspected the Anand Vihar area, which is considered one of the pollution hotspots of the city.
The visit was aimed to assess the ground situation and ensure that remedial measures are implemented effectively.
Meghwal was accompanied by Deputy Commissioner of Shahdara South Zone Badal Kumar, along with senior MCD officials and ground staff.
During the inspection, the Additional Commissioner reviewed the air quality monitoring zone and directed officials to work in close coordination with multiple stakeholders to bring down pollution levels in the area.
