New Delhi, Sept. 4 -- Ankush Narang, the Leader of Opposition in the Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD), has written to the Mayor and the Municipal Commissioner, proposing a financial contribution to aid flood victims in Punjab.

In a letter addressed to Mayor Raja Iqbal Singh and MCD Commissioner Ashwani Kumar on Thursday, Narang suggested that all municipal councillors contribute one month's meeting allowance and all MCD officers and employees donate one day's salary to the relief efforts.
