Gorakhpur, March 5 -- A tragic road accident has been reported from Gorakhpur, where a speeding SUV coming from the wrong side rammed into several vehicles, killing an MBBS student.
The incident occurred on the Mohaddipur-Kauabagh Overbridge on Wednesday night. According to eyewitnesses, a speeding Toyota Fortuner entered the overbridge from the wrong direction and crashed into multiple vehicles.
During the collision, a scooter rider, identified as Akash Pandey, a third-year MBBS student of BRD Medical College, was severely hit. The impact was so strong that his body was thrown and got stuck on the railing of the overbridge.
