New Delhi, Dec. 26 -- Delhi Mayor Raja Iqbal Singh on Friday outrightly rejected the allegations made by the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) over the Municipal Corporation of Delhi's (MCD) budget, calling them baseless and politically motivated.
The Mayor said the AAP has become a "visionless party" and accused it of relying only on allegations rather than constructive politics. He said the party had failed to present any clear roadmap for the city even when it was in power, and that lack of vision continues to reflect in its role as the opposition.
Singh said that during AAP's tenure in the MCD, no concrete steps were taken for citizens' welfare or for long-term development of Delhi. As a result, basic civic services and essential amenities suffer...
